Nursing Recruitment Australia

Nursing in Australia

Just as nurses from developed countries like the UK, Ireland, USA, and Canada must register with their respective national agencies, overseas nurses looking to work in Australia must register with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Find out more information about international nurses working in Australia.

Australia has one of the best working environment for nurses. Both private and public nursing facilities have the latest technologies, allowing nurses to maximise their skills and experiences.

Australia is one of the leading destinations for nurses from the US and Canada who are looking for permanent nursing positions or working holidays.

Australian Nursing Agency (ANA) provides nurses with plenty of opportunities to work in both private and public clinic settings within all major cities. Tax Information

As mandated, Australian Nursing Agency requires nurses to submit their Tax File Number (TFN). For those coming from New Zealand or those who are in Australia on a working holiday, ANA will provide you with the TFN Application Form. Taxes will be deducted from your weekly pay and this will be based on the approved scale. Fore more information, check with the Australian Taxation Office.

Superannuation

You can choose the superannuation fund or retirement savings account to which ANA will make future superannuation guarantee contributions. All ANA members will receive the Superannuation Standard Choice form. Under the choice, an employee has the ability to have their Superannuation Guarantee Contribution (SGC) paid into the complying super fund of their choice. You can find further information on your superannuation payments on the Australian Taxation Office website.
